BOOKING / TICKETS
How do I book?
Easy: go to Book Your Trip and click on the
date you’re interested in.
How will I get my tickets?
We will email you confirmation of your booking along with your reference
shortly after your order has gone through. Your name is all you’ll need to
gain entry to the event.
What if I have to cancel my booking?
Tickets are transferable to another person - do just let us know on [email protected].
We regret that due to the limited capacity of the event, we cannot refund
your ticket once purchased.
Can my company block book part of the table for my employees and
clients?
Absolutely. Do contact us on [email protected] or
call Sinead on 07795 363 661 to discuss your exact requirements.
Can I book it separately during the day?
Absolutely. Please contact hello@globalfeast2012 as
soon as possible to discuss. Special meals are available upon request.
Will you have a TV on during the opening ceremony?
Yes.
Why is there a booking fee?
Latitudinal Cuisine, the producer of the event, is a non-profit organisation
and the Global Feast has been priced to cover the costs of putting on the
event. The small booking fee is to cover the costs of the Paypal charges. We
would love to be able to absorb these charges but as a non-profit, we simply
can’t; sorry!

LOGISTICS
Can I sit with my friends or will I be sitting with strangers?
Pre-booking your preferred seat or region will be done on a 1st-come
1st-serve basis - get there early to reserve your city of departure. We
envisage that people might decide to travel through the continents (and
their inhabitants) over the course of the evening - and agree to swap seats
with each other between courses.
Global Feast is in a courtyard? Will I get cold or wet?
No. The event is sheltered by a marquee whose walls can fully retract to
enjoy the lovely outdoor atmosphere.
Is there a bar at Global Feast?
Yes. The Worldscape installation also has a World Bar. We will sell beers,
wines and drinks from around the world.
Can I bring my own booze?
No.
Can I bring my children?
Absolutely. We regret that we cannot offer a special children’s ticket or
menu but you are more than welcome to book them a regular ticket. If they’re
small enough they’ll love running around under the crazy table - it’s
awesome down there.
Will this be the most awesome night of my life?
Yes. Apart from maybe your wedding night. Which we’re happy to host once
we’ve done the world 😉
FOOD
I have food allergies. Can I request a special menu?
We regret that due to the change of menu and chefs each evening, each
evening’s menu is fixed and we cannot cater to specific requirements.
What if I’m vegetarian?
We will offer a vegetarian option for those that clearly state that
preference 7 days in advance. Email us at hello@globalfeast2012
Who’s cooking?
Kerstin will be overseeing and curating each evening. Each night she’ll be
joined by a very special guest chef (or more) specialising in the cuisine of
the evening. We’ll post the details for all guest chefs the minute we know
them - on both this site and our Facebook page.
Are you serving all the world foods each evening?
No - we are serving a slice of the world each evening; each night has a
special focus e.g on the 7th August we will be eating food from Japan. The
whole event will serve the whole world; each night will contribute a
component region. You can find out which nights serve which cuisine here.
